Gardening under the Lockdown conditions caused by the coronavirus crisis, has been the one thing for many people which has kept them sane. The plant & seed companies were as busy as the supermarkets with queues just to get onto their websites. Then, when garden centres opened in mid May, many people flocked to them to buy plants and other products to beautify their gardens. My little front cottage garden is full of colour and my pots and baskets are overflowing with flowers. Does this sound familiar to you?
If not, maybe you are one of the many other people out there who have previously struggled with their garden and above all feel happy just to have the grass cut and any borders tidy. Whoever you are, a lawnmower that works when you want to use it is vitally important. No one needs the stress of pulling and pulling a petrol mower which just won’t start However most of the time the problem is old fuel. Modern petrol doesn’t last more than about 2 months before it starts to lose it’s combustabiity. This can be solved with a good service.
The grass keeps growing
While some people don’t worry how long their grass gets, most of the people we meet get a feeling of overwhelm when the grass is out of control and they can’t cut it. With all of the other stress in the world at the moment this is one thing that can be avoided. One customer, upon receiving his mower back serviced & running well, recently commented that we had “renewed [his] interest in the garden”. This is music to our ears!
For those of us fortunate enough to have a garden, even a small patch of outside space, it is somewhere to sit and relax, for the kids to play, the pets to explore and most of all for you to enjoy.
